Rope Guerrilla is a volunteer project committed to capturing the spirit of activists, rebels, and radicals in the vertical world. Our work is made possible thru the curiosity, creativity, and research of contributors and is inspired by the diverse world of climbing as a form of protest and resistance. Do you believe that engaging with ecological, social, and/or political issues by way of the vertical can have an impact? Come join our Editorial Team and help unite, inform, and inspire via writing, illustrations and photography. Tasks will range from organizing photo submissions to writing articles and feature stories for ropeguerrilla.org to executing historical and technical research. Projects will be chosen based on your interests. Responsibilities could include but are not limited to: * Authoring articles and/or multi-media pieces for ropeguerrilla.org * Proofreading, editing and fact checking * Researching current/historical events and materials for feature stories and technical articles * Interviewing rad folks * Soliciting and managing photo submissions * Translating — for those with foreign language fluency No specific computer proficiency is required but an understanding of WordPress, Microsoft Word, Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Excel is helpful. You should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to seeing projects to completion. Responsibilities will vary wildly and will be chosen based on current project needs in conjunction with your interests.
