JOIN THE SKIPPER FOR USO MOVIE NIGHT July 1st at MILLENNIUM PARK! Grab a blanket, a picnic basket and all of your closest friends and join the USO of Illinois out on the Great Lawn next Tuesday, July 1, for USO Movie Night at Millennium Park! This FREE event was created in collaboration with the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events and is part of their summer-long, outdoor film series. The night features a special pre-movie concert and presentation by Navy Band Great Lakes and Color Guard, a welcome by Captain Bill Ferris Bulis, Commanding Officer, Naval Station Great Lakes and Naval Aviator, and a screening of the 1986 action film classic Top Gun on the Jay Pritzker Pavilions 40-ft LED screen. The USO will have a special Canteen set up adjacent to the lawn and USO Volunteers will be out in force, handing out mini American flags to the crowd. Its sure to be a fun, patriotic night.
