The UWI Research Expo kicks-off with a day filled with everything chocolate from showcasing the premium, dark Trinitario chocolates, to learning about the rich history of cocoa estates and the legacy of chocolate making in Trinidad and Tobago. Visitors will have an opportunity to learn about our Cocoa Research Centre’s pioneering work, enjoy a variety of chocolate products from local entrepreneurs (truffles, ice-creams, blended wines, butter soaps, etc.) as well as participate in chocolate-based culinary competitions and chocolate making courses.
