JOURNEY OF PURSUIT ALBUM UPDATE! :) As many of you read a few weeks ago, I am diligently working away on my first album The Journey of Pursuit. As I stated in that big post, we are in talks with a producer out of Redding who has produced for bethel, jesus culture, and others. Next week we send him demos and its on from there! This whole thing is a dream come true, and I cant wait to see what the Lord does with it! Something to encourage you all- About 2 weeks ago I was sitting in our Sunday service and started to feel quite overwhelmed by this whole project. I began to pray and said God, this seems crazy. I have to have $30,000 by May... $15,000 by February 1st... Thats 5 weeks Lord! and I only have $6,000 lol... As if He wasnt aware :) haha... and I began to for a min question, ok God is this really what you want, I know you told me to do this and do it right, but right now this just seems crazy! Immediately I felt His peace, and He said I am the God of the impossible, I have made this dream a reality so far, and I will be the One to complete it, I got this... I said ok God, I trust you. That day I got home from service and opened a christmas card given to me by dear friends and was shocked to see a $1000.00 check for the album. I immediately started to tear up, here I had just prayed this prayer not even 2hrs prior and here I was being met with complete confirmation from the Lord once again that Hes got this... THEN... 2 days later, I get an anonymous donor who writes me a $6,000 check for the album... To which I completely balled my eyes out. Here I was feeling overwhelmed like God I dont know how this is going to happen, but I know you, and I trust you, and I know youve called me to do this and within 3 days, I am met with $7,000, which 7 is a prophetic sign all in itself. I was overwhelmed again in the best way possible... and more has continued to flood in, I believe im only $1000 short of My first $15,000 installment, which has happened in less than 2 weeks. WOW! I wanted to share this to encourage all of you, stepping out into your dreams feels risky, and it is, but God is faithful, and its only when we take great risks that we can see great rewards. I believe this album is not only going to be a great album that encourages people, but also one that empowers them to dream.
