JOY I have not confirmed arthritis. I have confirmed that she is indeed going blind - she can see light-vs-dark, shapes, colors, the couch and litterbox, her food and water, and legs and shoes; but not much more, I think. Unfortunately, Ive also confirmed that her mental faculties are decreasing. :( I dont know if its actually due to the blindness. I had a couple of folks come by earlier tonight, and while she can recognize shapes and colors, she gets confused as to which direction my voice comes from, and when she does, she looks for legs and feet walking past her, and automatically assumes that theyre mine. Tonight, she was wrong about 60% of the time, and followed guests cause they were kind to her. (Hell, everyone always is.) Plus, due to the blindness and confusion, she loses track of where I am. Shes deteriorating, rapidly. (For those of you who have been following, Im not going to be happy about her demise. But I cannot overlook that I was burdened with three unwanted dependents, and my life - technically - will be easier once shes gone. I know it sounds cold, but Im being honest. Think what you will of me.)
