JOY Is Not Learning Center 佳音不是補習班 在台灣,你可以到處在街道上看到「JOY」招牌(補習班)。當然絕對地,所有人都需要喜樂,但不是為了學英語,而是學習喜樂擁抱人生。美國文學家愛默生曾說:「沒有任何外表膚色,形式,行為如散播喜樂的願望,而不是撒下痛苦來得更美。」 你也可發現整本聖經中,焦點很少放在「快樂」。為什麼呢?神難道不希望我們快樂嗎?當然不是。神希望我們過比快樂更好的人生,它被稱為喜樂。稍縱即逝的快樂不等於永恆的喜樂。喜樂是基於不可改變的神。快樂在於變化多端與不可預知的環境。 你知道「JOY」(喜樂)這個字代表的意義嗎?J =耶穌第一;O=他人第二;Y =自己,最後為了過一個充滿喜樂的生命,你必須遵循上帝 「JOY」(喜樂) 的公式,但自私與自我的罪惡與愁苦使我們的生命充滿了愁苦,昔日嚮往的喜樂已經不復存在。就如亞當和夏娃把自我的Y(Yourself)放在生命之首悖逆上帝後,便失去了真正喜樂,永遠活在自身的苦難中。 幸運地,上帝有一個讓人重獲喜樂完美計畫(JOY)。就是藉由上帝自己的兒子降生,JOY 的J—Jesus居人生的首位,喜樂再度出現了。 從聖經「我報給你們大喜的信息,是關乎萬民的」(路加福音2章10節)。耶穌在世所行神蹟,醫好病人,賜光明給盲人,使死人復活。但這只是對將來永恆喜樂的縮影。 「JOY喜樂」是三個條件,第一字縮寫的組合所組成。耶穌(Jesus)擺第一,其他人(Others)放第二,自己(Yourself)要居尾才是喜樂「JOY」。JOY的不可或缺關鍵Jesus進入我們的世界,經歷了悲傷、死亡,最終帶給我們喜樂希望,這就是聖誕節是一個充滿喜樂感恩的季節,聖誕節就是耶穌加上零,耶穌是喜樂的泉源! 主耶穌是我們人生所有事的首位。要獲得真正的喜樂,我們需要關鍵的優先事項和輕重緩急。把其他人的利益,放在你前面。這是享受神給予真正喜樂的順序,而不是稍縱即逝多變的幸福快樂的順序。所有的情感和情緒都有極強的傳染性。俗話說,「物以類聚,人以群分。」一個喜樂的人喜歡與周遭的人分享喜悅。他的一生中,不斷從得到神豐富的喜樂泉源。共享歡樂歡樂加倍,分擔憂愁憂愁減半。 老實說,這世界充滿悲傷。意外事故連連和天然災害不斷,都常常撕裂了我們快樂的心。我們容易感到悲傷與不快樂。但從尼希米記8章10節「你們不要憂愁,因靠耶和華而得的喜樂是你們的力量。」 直到環境不斷威脅著我的快樂情緒,我們才意識到神才是我們真正喜樂的源頭。無論我們身邊發生什麼事,主要填滿我們內心的悲傷空虛,讓我們感到充滿活力和動力來完成不能克服的任務。有主的喜樂,人生就會充滿了歡唱的喜悅和對神的讚美,並把這份喜樂帶給這悲慘的世界,產生更多的歡樂。 主的喜樂不是暫時性的解決悲傷的辦法,而是你會有一顆隨時充滿洋溢歡喜的心,這是除了主外,其它無處可尋的寶藏。祂的喜樂會減輕充滿重擔的人生旅程和更新我們的疲憊的心。當其他人,揹著超過他們所能承受沉重的十字架時,最後在絕望中瞧見你心中耶穌的喜樂,他們決會渴慕想要耶穌的喜樂。 遇到挫折,不用害怕,不用灰心,繼續前行。當上帝打開天堂的窗戶祝福我們,魔鬼也會打開地獄之門準備炸毀我們。你最近曾有美好的心靈體驗嗎?那麼你最好不要開始得意自滿, 認為事事都會順利進展。如果魔鬼試探耶穌,相信他會引誘你。最近感受,當我寫給神情書創作越多,我越想放棄寫作。我越想放棄寫作時,我卻從神愛的話語中,得到更多的靈感創作。真是喜樂交錯! 天路歷程不可能沿路一路順暢,而是在顛簸的旅程中,享受有主喜樂的同在。 記住,任何時刻只要有機會,把具有傳染力的主喜樂,分享給周遭的人。遇到阻礙,別灰心,人生是由喜樂和悲傷所組成。生活中痛苦的經歷,是擴展人生的根基。而生活的喜樂是通往天堂的路的動力。 切勿待在人生陰影中低聲埋怨,人生陰影往往比你的夢想,對真正人生有更清楚的啟示。今天,愛我的主一直提醒我們這些話:「喜樂是陽光;悲傷是烏雲。我們要充分經歷人生,兩樣都是上帝給我們不可或缺的珍貴禮物。」聖經詩篇30篇5節「一夜雖有哭泣,早晨必定歡呼。」勇不放棄的精神,樂觀精神昂揚的人,總可以在每個全新的一天找到來自主喜樂的力量。 你可曾感受牧羊人所見證屬天喜樂?願星星夜空美妙音樂瞭繞的夜晚,主耶穌的復活帶來的喜樂,充滿有上帝恩典你我的心中。 In Taiwan, you can see the “ JOY” signboard on the streets here and there. Absolutely, all need “ JOY”, not for learning English but for learning to embrace life joyfully. Emerson, an American Poet once said, “ There is no beautifier of complexion, or form, or behavior, like the wish to scatter joy and not pain around us.” That is the reason why in the whole Bible, the spotlight is rarely turned on happiness. Why? Does God want us to be unhappy? Definitely not. God desires us to lead a life more than happiness—it is called JOY. Everlasting Joy is not equivalent to fleeting happiness. Joy is based on unchangeable God. Compared to joy, happiness lies in changeable and unpredictable circumstances. Do you know what the word 「JOY」stands for? J=Jesus First;O=Others Second;Y=Yourself Last. In order to lead a life full of joy, you have to follow God’s formula for “JOY”. Christmas is the season of joy. However, after selfish and self-centered wickedness and bitterness slip through our hearts, past joy was gone. Just as Adam and Eve displaced Y(Yourself) on top in life, God expelled them from their garden home to prevent something worse from happening, but they had lived in their agony of disobedience and misery. Fortunately, God had a perfect plan to restore JOY. It was by the birth of God’s own son into the world. The intial letter J has been put on the first (JOY) again, and divine joy naturally pops up from our hearts. From the Scripture “I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people” (Luke 2:10). Miracles which Jesus had made on earth such as healing the sick, restoring sight to the blind, and raising the dead were the epitome of eternal joy in the future . When the indispensable ingredient for JOY-Jesus entered the sinful world, experiencing sorrow, death, He gave us hope for joy. This is why Christmas is called a season of JOY. Above, Christmas is Christ plus nothing; He is the fountain of eternal JOY. JOY is the combination of three conditions, known for its initials. Jesus is first, Others are second, You are last—JOY. Jesus is the top priority of our life. To get real joy, we need to get our priorities right and straight. Put people’s interests before you. It’s the divine order of enjoying the real joy instead of fleeting happiness. All emotional feelings are communicable and highly contagious. As the old saying goes, “ Birds of a feather flock together.” A joyful person enjoys sharing joy to people around them. His life is abundant in unceasing living water from God. Shared joy is doubled joy; shared sorrow is halved sorrow. Frankly speaking, the world has more than enough sadness. Unexpected occurrences of accidents and the elements have torn our hearts apart. We have the tendency to feel sad not joyful. From Nehemiah 8:10 This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”. Not until circumstances keep threatening my emotions can we I realize God is the real source of my joy, Lord. No matter what may happen around us, the Lord will fill our sad emptiness up with an inner contentment that makes us feel energetic and dynamic to get insurmountable tasks done. With the joy of the Lord, we can live a life full of singing joy and praise to God, and we can spread more joy into the miserable world. Not just a temporary fix for sorrowful experiences, but a deep down inside in your heart this kind of joy is the lasting and overflowing one. You wont find it anywhere else. And His joy will lighten our life journey full of heavy load and strengthen our weary hearts. While Others bearing heavy cross more than they can lift up see it, they desire desperately the joy of Jesus in you in the end. Faced with frustrations, fear not, fait not, and keep moving on. When God opens the windows of heaven to bless us, the devil is going to open the doors of hell to blast us.” Have you had a wonderful spiritual experience recently? Then you better not start coasting. If the devil tempted Jesus, be sure he will tempt you as well. Don’t consider a smooth but a bumpy journey with the joy of the Lord keeping you company along the Heavenly road. Recently, the more I have written love letters to God, the more I would like to give up writing. The more I would like to give up writing, the more inspiration I has drawn from His loving words. What an experience of mingling joy with sorrow! But remember, joy is contagious and you can spread it to people around you as much as you can if chances arise. Keep your chin up, for life is made up of the joys sorrows. So the sorrows of life are the source of life’s enlargement. What is more, the joys of life are the driving force leading you to the Heaven. Murmur not at the shadows of your life all the time; they are better revelations than your dreams. Today, the Loving Lord has kept reminding us of the phrase “ Joy is the sunshine; sorrow is the dark clouds. They all God’s priceless and essential gifts for us to enjoy a life to the fullest. Praise be to the Lord. From Psalm 30:5, “ For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” It is an optimistic and enegetic person that never say die in the face of adverse conditions, for he always find the brand-new joy of the Lord each new day. Lin is not only sanity but also everlasting joy. Have you felt the divine joy the shepherds had eyewitnessed on the eve of Christmas?On the eve of starry night, the sky permeating with melodious carols, may the JOY of Christ’s resurrection bestow upon all our hearts. I mean, revel in him! Make it as clear as you can to all you meet that you’re on their side, working with them and not against them. Help them see that the Master is about to arrive. He could show up any minute! 6-7 Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. 8-9 Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies. Content Whatever the Circumstances 10-14 I’m glad in God, far happier than you would ever guess—happy that you’re again showing such strong concern for me. Not that you ever quit praying and thinking about me. You just had no chance to show it. Actually, I don’t have a sense of needing anything personally. I’ve learned by now to be quite content whatever my circumstances. I’m just as happy with little as with much, with much as with little. I’ve found the recipe for being happy whether full or hungry, hands full or hands empty. Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am. I don’t mean that your help didn’t mean a lot to me—it did. It was a beautiful thing that you came alongside me in my troubles. Philippians 4:4-10 The Voice (VOICE) 4 Most of all, friends, always rejoice in the Lord! I never tire of saying it: Rejoice! 5 Keep your gentle nature so that all people will know what it looks like to walk in His footsteps. The Lord is ever present with us. 6 Don’t be anxious about things; instead, pray. Pray about everything. He longs to hear your requests, so talk to God about your needs and be thankful for what has come. 7 And know that the peace of God (a peace that is beyond any and all of our human understanding) will stand watch over your hearts and minds in Jesus, the Anointed One. 8 Finally, brothers and sisters, fill your minds with beauty and truth. Meditate on whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is good, whatever is virtuous and praiseworthy. 9 Keep to the script: whatever you learned and received and heard and saw in me—do it—and the God of peace will walk with you. 10 I could hardly contain my joy in the Lord when I realized you have started to show your care for me once again. Since you have not had the opportunity to show how much you cared until now, I want you to know how it touched me. 4 Rejoice in the Lord always.
