JOYGURU....I have recently visited Chotobarua Ashram on my return from Baghasti Sarbabhouma Sammilani, established by Chidananda Maharaj and it is situated in Medinipur of WB. After he left ABS Math, Chidananda Maharaj settled here and founded this ashram in order to propagate Thakur Maharajs life, teachings and also the moral values of Sanatan Hindu Dharma. It is beautiful and there is a Gurubrahma Asan, marble stone statues of Thakur, Yogmaya devi and chidananda maharaj. The samadhi of chidananda maharaj is also situated here. They publish a yearly magazine named Nigam Darshan and it is of very high quality including some rare letters written by thakur to his devotees and also between other notable persons of saraswat math, parts of writings from the diary of sarat brahmachari and chidananda maharaj and articles containing many other valuable incidents of saraswat world. I want to mention two incidents that have been incarnated there over some marble plates...1. Chidananda Maharaj by his enormous yoga shakti SHOWN a disciple in a cremation ground (smasan) that Thakur and Maa is one in different body. They both are same (non duality philosophy)........2. Two personage or holy soul from the himalayas came to that ashram in the form of two birds and they sat in a Amlaki tree just beside the main building of ashram (that tree is still there) and did some conversation with chidananda maharaj. Maharaj himself stated this incident to the devotees later.
