JRF at BIT, Tiruchirapalli Applications are invited for the post of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the project funded by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), New Delhi in the Department of Biotechnology, BIT, Anna University, Tiruchirappalli 620 024 on temporary basis. Title of the project: Mouse Seminal Vesicle Sulfhydryl Oxidase (SOx): Cloning and Expression of Recombinant Enzyme to Identify Its Cross Linking Substrate among Seminal Vesicle Proteins Tenure of the project : 3 years No. of post: One Name of Post : JRF Essential qualifications: First class in M.Tech/M.Sc Life Science Desirables: Experience in animal Biotechnology, Molecular cloning, protein purification and publication in refereed journals Emoluments : (for first two years as JRF) Rs. 18,000/-pm + HRA for candidates with M.Tech Biotechnology Rs. 16,000/-pm + HRA for candidates with M.Sc in Life Science Emoluments (for third years as SRF) subject to satisfactory performance and review at the end of each year Rs. 20,000/-pm + HRA for candidates with M.Tech Biotechnology Rs. 18,000/-pm + HRA for candidates with M.Sc in Life Science Candidates recruited for JRF can register for pursuing Ph.D programme in Anna University, Chennai.
