Let The Good Times Roll is a story set in Brooklyn, New York in the late 1950s. Two longtime rivals of their respected street gangs deal with the hardship and responsible of growing up. Donnie, the leader of the Kings is busy falling for the new girl, Mary who just moved into the neighborhood. This gives Paulie, leader of another local gang, the Sackett Street Boys, the opportunity of ridding the neighborhood of Donnie. Paulie endures feelings of neglect and misplacement by his own gang and by his own neighborhood. Donnie has constant encounters with Paulie, who has always held feelings of jealousy towards Donnie because of Donnies respected popularity. Donnie wants peace between Paulie and himself, however, when Paulie inflicts heartache on Donnie and Mary, Donnie knows he has no choice but to save his neighborhood, his gang and his girl from the anguish caused by Paulie and his gang.
