:: JUDAH UPDATE - He went on for his procedure in the cath lab today, and originally they seemed to be successful, but when the surgeon tried to adjust the stent to a better position, he pushed it through and it was lodged in Judahs right pulmonary artery. So, now they will need to open up his chest to remove the stent and place in a shunt. This may happen tomorrow morning. However, his trachea is quite small, and the ENT surgeons would like to enlarge it to allow to better intubation. These two procedures cannot happen together, so tomorrow morning, all of his various doctors are meeting to discuss what course of action would be best for Judah. If he has the surgery on his airways, it will likely be Wednesday. If the surgeons cannot agree, then everything will be postponed until next week. Judah is currently stable, but he is still sedated, and likely will be for several more days. We ask that your prayers focus on agreement in the conference room tomorrow, so that we can get the ball rolling again and get Judah home sooner. Also, that whatever is decided, that the surgeons who work on Judah are skilled, patient, and wise in their decisions. God will work all things together for Judahs good and we rest in that.
