JUNE (BOESE) BRICKER, age 91, of Kendallville died on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville. Mrs. Bricker was born in Noble County on June 29, 1923 to Alvin Kammerer and Amilia (Dyk) Kammerer. She married her first husband Harold Boese on November 20, 1941 at Zion Lutheran Church in West Fairfield close to Corunna and he preceded her in death on December 3, 1990. She married her second husband Gerald Bricker on September 21, 1996 at Sugar Grove Church of God in Churubusco and he preceded her in death on January 13, 1997. Mrs. Bricker was a life long homemaker. She also helped her family farm in Noble County for many years. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Stroh. Mrs. Bricker enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at the Friendship Food Pantry where she volunteered for 22 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, completing crossword puzzles and watching WWE wrestling. She love flowers, especially roses. She was mom and grandma to all who knew and loved her and will be greatly missed. Survivors include: Son; Larry Boese of Kendallville. Son; Dennis and Deb Boese of Lafayette, Indiana. Grandson; Cory and Nicole Boese of Kendallville. Grandson; Aaron Boese of Kendallville. Granddaughter; Lisa Nelson of Lafayette, Indiana. Granddaughter; Lana and Shane Sparks of Brookston, Indiana. Granddaughter; Lori and Todd Halke of Lafayette, Indiana. Eleven great grandchildren; Jenna, Krista, Lynden, Brittany, David, Jamie, Emma, Tanner, Cale, Caitlyn and Kearston. Nephew; Gary Kimpel of Kendallville. Nephew; Ron and Luann Kammerer of Kendallvile. Niece; Carol and Bob Price of Kendallville Niece; Phyllis Hite of Texas. Longtime friend; Betty Shanton and her beloved dog Miss Pepples. He was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband; Harold Boese and her second husband; Gerald Bricker, two brothers; Harold Kammerer and Robert Kammerer and one sister; Betty Keep. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the Hite Funeral Home, 403 South Main Street in Kendallville. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Hite Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville, Indiana. Preferred memorials may be made to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church or the Friendship Food Pantry.
