JUNE ISPRIDE MONTH, and we are really excited to celebrate with you! PRIDE EVENTS& MARCHES: Below is a line-up of our Pride events. Please click on the links for more information. 1.Pride Oneg Shabbat Service – THIS FRIDAY, June 7 @ 7:30pm, Miles Nadal JCC 2.Trans March – Fri, June 28 @ 6pm 3.Dyke March – Sat, June 29 @ 2pm 4.Pride Pub Night – Sat, June 29 @ 9pm, Fox & Fiddle (Wellesley Street) 5.Pride Parade – Sun, June 30 @ 2pm CALL OUT FOR PRIDE VOLUNTEERS! 1. BOOTH SHIFTS We needvolunteers to help run our booth over Pride weekend. Shifts are 2-3 hours long. See our booth shift schedule below and sign up for a shift or two. Please email us with your name and shift preference at kulanutoronto@gmail. We will do our best to accommodate you. SATURDAY BOOTH: 8-10am: (setup) – need 2 people 10am-12pm: need 3 people 12pm-2pm: need 3 people 2pm-5pm (Dyke March): need 3 people SUNDAY BOOTH: 10am-12pm: (setup) – need 2 people 12pm-2pm: need 1 person 2pm-5pm (Pride Parade): need 4 people 5-7pm: need 2 people 2. SCHLEPPERS We need 8 schleppersto help carry Kulanu flags, signs, and banners from our booth to the line-up site for the Pride Parade on Sunday afternoon, June 30.As the saying goes, “Many hands make light work.” If you are interested, please email us at kulanutoronto@gmail. 3. DYKE MARCH COORDINATOR We are looking for someone to mobilize a group of Jewish lesbians to march with Kulanu Toronto at the Dyke March on Saturday, June 29, at 2pm. If you are interested in taking this on or partnering with someone to help out, please email us by Tuesday, June 11 at kulanutoronto@gmail. 4. TRANS MARCH COORDINATOR We are looking for someone to mobilize a group of trans Jews to march with Kulanu Toronto at the Trans March on Friday night, June 28, at 6pm. If you are interested in taking this on or partnering with someone to help out, please email us by Tuesday, June 11 at kulanutoronto@gmail. We look forward to seeing you at Pride!
