Protest Anti-Israel, Anti-Semitic Opera This Monday The Congregations of Shaare Shamayim are sponsoring a round-trip bus to New York this Monday so that people from our area can take part in a major protest to oppose the Metropolitan Opera’s production of “The Death of Klinghoffer,” an opera that makes a mockery of the murder by Palestinian-Arabs of wheelchair-bound Jewish American Leon Klinghoffer. The bus will leave at 1:30 p.m. from the synagogue parking lot, 9768 Verree Rd., Philadelphia. The cost is $5 per person.
