JUST INs: According to a #Conviva study, online video viewers watch on different devices at different times of the day. Viewers prefer mobile devices from 6 to 11AM, PCs from noon to 4PM, and TVs from 7 to 11PM. Seems to mesh with our work schedules a bit... #Cord-cutters, or those canceling their traditional pay-TV service in favor of online video, will rise to 10% of total subscribers over the next year, according to a Morgan Stanley analysis. Thats up 2% from last year. Cord-cutting is the most common question we currently get. #TiVo-affiliated #Digitalsmiths recent report says viewers watch the same channels over and over, with 80% watching 10 or fewer channels. 72% order no VOD and 45% have streaming subscriptions. Kind of makes sense why cord-cutting is on the rise. Time for cable service providers to start offering a la carte options. #Chromecast added Vudu and Crackel video streaming, Rdio music streaming and Photowall photo collaboration. Netflix and HBO Go are already included. We recently started using Chromecast. Love it!!
