*JUST RELEASED* #Fury first trailer via #Empire The film follows a tank crew in the final push through Germany in WWII. As the Empire article states, the mechanised units of war have never really featured in film due to the confined nature of their occupants. We know from the recent success of Captain Phillips that ingenuity in cinematography, coupled with a compelling narrative, can overcome the restrictiveness of this type of filming. It’s always difficult to tell with trailers but they may have got it right here with Fury as well. The film is directed by David Ayer, of End of Watch and Training Day fame, so you know it’s going to be intense. The notable stars include Brad Pitt (not sure about the haircut), Shia LaBeouf and Michael Pena. Pena is an Art In Motion favourite and was also in Ayer’s End of Watch.
