JUST SAYING : Looking back to learn...looking forward to learn more. As I end the first day of 2015 and officially bid goodbye to 2014 : 1) I say that even as I am growing old, there are still some firsts to experience. In 2014, I did things for the first time during my travels (snorkeling in Puerto Galera, riding a cable car to cite a few), in the office (conceptualizing a collaborative project of staffs and officers, attending and speaking in the planning session with much thanks to our heads) and even with my family and friends (spending Christmas in a hotel and night out all nights in Boracay). Target : 1 international trip and domestic travels with people who truly matter. 2) I say health is not wealth but a treasure. Growing old is manifested physically and I need to be ready also physically. Target : 10 convertible sick leaves by end of 2015! 3) I say that I need to live a more prayerful life. With all the realized aspirations and unlikely turn of lifes events in 2014, from the peak and downest point of our family, I realized that the heaviness of ones heart is lightened by a soft whisper of prayer. I will be more grateful for the good times and prayer-ready for the not-so-good times. I will have more strength that comes from a silent praying heart. Target : mass every Sunday and 2 visits to the chapel every week 4) I say that money is a necessity and I do not plan to spend more for those of lesser value. A plan for a long-term engagement with my future is just waiting for the right time and I need to be more stable for it, financially and in other aspects. Target : 5-digit high savings at end of the year 5) I say that solution for some problems is a blessing called Divine Intervention. When all is done and said, He has the final say and the final hand. And I lift up everything to Him with compete faith and gratitude. Target : All up to Him!!!! Just saying, I have learned looking back and I will learn more looking forward.
