Believing the gospel & declaration of the Lordship of Jesus over your life by faith makes you righteous, which is having a right standing before God. . Meaning that God can now hear you when you call upon Him (Romans 10:13). And so to have the right to call and receive Gods approval is dependent on your attitude to Gods word (Romans 10:14). . Many called on God with fasting in between and got no answer, because of a wrong attitude towards Gods word (Proverbs 28:9). Until a right approach is given to Gods word (faith) justification cant be reached. (Ezek.36:25-28). . . S-A-L-V-A-T-I-O-N: . When justification is obtained, then your mouth is empowered for your salvation; hence its with the mouth (Romans 10:10) (Luke 21:15.) . Now what is salvation? its gotten from the word salvage, which means; to save from damage, loss, destruction, or shipwreck; which was the ultimate plan of the devil against mankind. (John 10:10), but Jesus destroyed him (Col.2:15) and continued destroying his works (1John 3:8). . . From our opening scripture, we can see that salvation is obtained through our word that is consistent with Gods word. (Proverbs 4:20-22). . Constant and conscious declaration of Gods word concerning you and your circumstances makes for effective salvation. (Joshua 1:8) So having been justified, we have the responsibility to salvage our selves from mental slavery, which came as a result of degeneration of man at Eden: (Phili.2:12) by reprogramming your mind through the word of God. (Romans 12:2). . Careful and deliberate studying of Gods word gives you spiritual information that will lead to reformation, and when there is an adequate reformation you are inn for transformation. Which is part of our Christian goal; (Jere. 29:13-14). (Phili.3:14). . Therefore get to the word and you will never remain the same: till i come your way again. Bless your heart.
