Jacodu Childrens Project 2014........what a big difference four years has made, a lot of commitment, dedication to meeting the aims of breaking cycles of poverty and staying focused on that vision. Supporters who had a heart for the plight of the children and believed that Love Light Romania could bring them hope and change their lives around for the better. Joni now in full time employment on the agriculture scheme. School attendance is increased amongst the Roma children with 100 percent regular appearance, the last school year, on the out of school education program. Babies that are now born on the project are healthier, cleaner and the Roma mums, with babes in arms, proudly show them off in the village, where non Roma admire and play with this new generation. Next week back to school, plus some of the children will be taking part in a community work project, painting the school fence and gate. The project is affecting not just the Roma families, but the whole community at Jacodu village and the future is looking very bright.
