Alex Preston, the Jacquard Educator, will present a demonstration and workshop for the exciting Solar Fast printing process. Paints and supplies are in his blood, as his family has been in the art materials business since World War 2. Alex has experience with a wide range of mediums, including clay, airbrush, markers, paints, screen printing, and many others. His formal training in chemistry meshes extremely well with his interest in both dyes and pigments, and Alex’s interest in teaching is closely related to his extensive art retail experience. His goal is “finding the right tool, for the right person, for the right job”
