Jaguars Dominate District Tournament Congratulations, everyone. You all looked great at the tournament. Liam - 1st place, BS Vijay / Shawn - 1st place, BD Mary Louise - 1st place, GS Yaritza - 2nd place, GS Karissa / Nikki - 1st place, GS David / Stephanie - 1st place, MD Jags faced Jags in the finals for Boys Doubles, Girls Singles, and Mixed. In all three cases the matches against ourselves were the toughest of the tournament. Liam fought the match of the day against Luke Lipinski from McCallum, a 2.5-hour grind. The hardest and most impressive play on the courts today. Mary Louise didn’t lose a game until she faced Yaritza. Zafar, Omari, Nathan, and Jackie play tomorrow at 5:00 for their spot on the bus to San Antonio. Good luck to you all. Great job today. Let’s take the remainder of the week to rest – no practice Thursday. Next week we will meet as usual in my room on Monday to recap the season and plot the next few weeks. Next week is the last week of practice for JV and freshmen as Varsity prepares for Regionals on April 14th. Scores are attached.
