Jake update: Jake had very high blood pressures overnight....likely caused by the fluid building up around his heart. Yesterdays CT revealed Jakes bladder was HUGE! When the doctor described it he said the pictures made him cringe. That was likely causing his bowels to be inflamed and defiantly causing the extreme discomfort. His platelet count is up and his other labs are indicating good kidney function!!! When the doctors said they dont have an explanation as to why everything is trending in the right direction all of a sudden.....I boldly said, I know why. Its because we have thousands of people praying for this sweet child and God is answering prayers! Science is science and it has been necessary in Jakes treatment, but Gods hands are healing Jake!! They needed to place another catheter to 1) drain the bladder 2) have an accurate output amount! This catheter is necessary for the kidney to function. They will run some tests on the bladder to ensure its function is good,. Please pray that this catheter doesnt cause any infection.
