James 1:12. 25 -"Anyone who meets a testing challenge head-on and manages to stick it out is mighty fortunate. For such persons loyally in love with God, the reward is life and more life." "But whoever catches a glimpse of the revealed counsel of God - the free life - even out of the corner of their eye, and sticks with it, is no distracted scatterbrain but a person of action. This person will find delight and affirmation in the action." (The Message) These verses spoke to me this morning as a reassurance to me that what I do for God is worth something. But it is in my actions that I will realize this. God is a God of action and He wants me as His child to be a believer of action. Doing what He says.. praying for people, serving, reading and studying His word, attending worship service at TVCC, staying focused on where He has placed me in Celebrate Recovery and connecting with the others who God has led to CR, learning at Soul Care. Being here for my family and their needs at this time of their lives is truly a gift from God. And as I do these things, I can feel the presence of the Holy Spirit of Jesus being here with me.
