James Carville: During my time as a political strategist, one of the most vexing problems was figuring out why so many people vote against their perceived interests. This guy was a nutball when he was working as a strategist and sounds like he still is! The key word is perceived. Its simple Jim: Your perception is wrong, not the people. They will always vote their interests.
