Jammu February 1, 2014: Raghunath Bazaar Businessmen Association (RBBA) has thanked the Directorate of Tourism Jammu and particularly its Director Soujanya Sharma for announcing award of prizes for four shopkeepers of Raghunath Bazaar Jammu, for their best performance in this year’s Lohri Festival. A meeting of the RBBA held here today under the Chairmanship of its President Baldev Khullar highly appreciated the gesture of Director Tourism Jammu for accepting the recommendations of three members committee, who had selected four Raghunath Bazaar Shopkeeper for award of prizes, for their distinguish role and performance during three days long Lohri festival 2014 celebrated jointly by RBBA, Directorate of Jammu and other Tourism related bodies of Jammu, on January 11,12,13 the selection comprised of President RBBA, President All Jammu Hotels and Lodges Associations and Vice President Jammu Hotels, Resturants and Bars Association. The shopkeepers who have been awarded prizes are M/s Baniya Super Market, Shop no 3314 awarded first prize of four nights complimentary stay at Pathnitop Tourism Department accommodation. M/s Jainways, shop no 14 and M/s Sharma Dry Fruit Shop No.16 are awarded second prize of three nights complimentary stay at Patnitop. While M/s Puri Exclusive Showroom Shop no. 220 is awarded third prize of two nights stay at Patnitop. Besides Sh. Baldev Khallur President of the association other office bearers and prominent citizen present on the occasion included Mohit Gupta Sr. Vice President, Madan Mohan Sharma Vice President, Sanjay Sethi Gen. Secy., Ashwani Kohli Secy., Amit Kapoor Treasurer, Om Prakash Mahajan chairman Jammu Heritage Society, K L Bhalla Vice-Chairman Jammu Heritage Society, Bhubneshwar Gandotra former President RBBA, Ashvini Arora, Ajesh Rohmetra, Sachin Khaurana, Amit Goel, Anoop Jain and Sanjay Gupta.
