Jammu city Unit of National Conference Kick started election campaign by orgainsing a well attended meeting at Gujjar Nagar today .Those present include the orgainser Babu Rampal Former Minister , Incharge Jammu District , Ayub Malik , Bimla Luthra MLA, Satwant Kour, ,S.peter ,Waris Gill , Mohd. Farooq Mughal , Sanjay Gupta , Surinder Singh Bubty Provincial President YNC , Abdul Gani Teli, Aftab Manhas . Kuldeep Ghai, Michal Wazir , Kuldeep Sangral , Ravi Dogra , Raja Naveed , Dilshada ,Madan Gill, Nirmal Singh , Pardeep Bali , Farman Ali , M.L Munshi , Anju Grover and others. Bimla Luthra MLA , Babu Rampal Former Minister , S.Peter , Ayub Malik , Aftab Manhas apart from Dr. Kamaal Additional General Secretary J&K National Conference addressed the gathering .All the speakers impressed upon the audience to hold steadfast the lofty ideals of secularism , Amity and non-violence of the National Conference and defeat the nefarious designs of the communal and sectarian forces represented by the BJP and the PDP and their divisive politics . Recounting the achievements of the National Conference governments especially after 1975 Dr Kamaal mentioned the GMC hospital , Jammu Dental College and Children hospital .All the six bridge across Tawi from Sidhara to Bagwati Nagar including Niki Tawi bridge , the fruit and vegetable Mandis and Transport Nagar at Narwal , the Jammu Bye pass , the Bagh –e- Babu and the modern Aquarium there , Gummat to Tawi Bridge Link road , the secretariat to MLA Hostel link road , Panjthiriti Matadar stand , the New Jammu university campus , seetli water supply Scheme with distribution reservoir at Manda , widening of the Gujjar Nagar road , circular road and Abhinav Theatre among other works including Sidhra Golf Course four laning of road from Kunjwani to Satwari , four laning link road from Gujjar Nagar to Narwal Bye pass, Jammu High Court Complex , Construction of migrant campus , expansion of Jammu Airport. Dr. Kamaal also reminded the audience that Gujjar Nagar colony was established by Sher –I- Kashmir after 1975. He assured the audience that their demand of a police post, public park, community hall and improvement to lanes and drains will be taken up on priority after the parliament election .All the speakers asked the people to vote for the joint candidates of national Conference and congress in large numbers to give a befitting reply to PDP and BJP and nip the evil in the bud .
