Jan 25, 2014 THE KEY THAT CLOSE AND OPEN SIGNIFICANT DOORS Good morning Friends Like & Share with friends THE FACES OF UNBELIEVE What worry does; 1. Worry does not accomplish anything. It leaves you at the same place you were before you started worrying Matt 6: 27 which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 2. Worry is contrary to faith. When you worry you cannot trust God at the same time. 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 3. Worry will direct your focus to the wrong way/places. When we worry we start to look for plan “B” 31 therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat? Or, what shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 4. Worrying is not good for you. Phil 4: 6 Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 5. Worry is a waste of good time. Most of the things we worry about never come to pass 6. Worry is hard work compared to trusting in God and letting God do all the work 7. Worry opens the door to the enemy to attack you. 8. Worry makes you become prosper in what you are worried about. When you worry you meditate on the things you worrying about and like the Bible says in Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. You will begin to see that you are prospering in those things you have been worrying about. They will begin to come true. 9. Worry is a thief. It robs you of your right to the blessings of God. It robs you of your joy 10. Worry makes you to give up your dominion over all God’s creation. When God created all things He gave man dominion over them. Man lost that dominion when Adam sinned but the dominion was restored when you get born again. Worry will take away your power to decree a thing and it will be established. 11. Worry is a strong hold and the devil uses it to paralyze it’s captive. Lord Jesus, we have seen some of the things that worry can do, we pray that you will take away from us the stronghold of worry and give us a heart of peace. Lord have mercy on us and grant us the grace to trust you in every situation. Thank Lord for the answer in Jesus name.
