January! .....Its a new year, a time to make resolutions and set goals for the year. In the spirit of getting our personal house in order for the new year, our speaker this week is here to talk with us about estate planning. Something so often set to the back burner of our lives, and yet if we died tomorrow without an estate plan, who would make the decisions about where our belongings and investments go? If the state of California is an unacceptable answer to you, then its time to get your estate plan in order. Do I need a will? Should I get a trust instead? Whats the deal with an advanced health care directive? What exactly is probate? All of these questions and more will be answered this week when we welcome Jim Aste from the Harland Law firm to our club this week. Admitted to the Bar Association in 2002, Jim received his law degree from The University of Idaho.
