Japan has bought US western white wheat for the first time in ten weeks after suspending imports due to the discovery of Roundup Ready wheat volunteers in Oregon. Japan bought 178,000 tons of milling wheat including almost 90,000 tons of US western white in its weekly tender this week. That purchase also included 32,000 tons of US dark northern spring wheat, as well as Canadian and Australian wheat.
