Japan is not only about the man and women in black suits and pants and skirts and their black hand carried luggages/laptops going to and from work. It is also about the small communities at the outskirts of places like here in Kawasaki where our dear Malolos friend, BettJacinta Aguilar lives. We fell in love with the place. It is clean, friendly ( no mugging ), small groceries of fresh fruits and flowers and the mode of transport is the bicycle. My traveling companion Edith and I think it is the best retirement place we have seen so far. Small apartments with a few thriving plants in small pots.
