Jelani was born at 1 pound 4 oz on my bathroom floor and I had to give her mouth to mouth until the ambulance came! She stayed in the NICU for 11 months and had around 17 surgeries! The day before she was supposed to come home she caught meningitis in her brain which to her eye sight hearing and made her a quadriplegic! She endured 5 hospital stays since coming home and fought everyday of her life! She is the strongest person I have ever known!
