Jenn shares . My son is 4 his teachers and therapist think he is on the higher functioning end of the spectrum from things they have seen. My question is this. I am wondering if any other families have had an autistic child who showed no intrest in toys what so ever? My son has huge sensory issue and seems averted to touching anything he refuses to eat about blended foods and wont hold a spoon to feed himself. He loves water and likes his trampoline sometimes but thats the only two play type things he will go for... swimming n jumping or swinging. Id love to find a jumper type thing for bigger kids cause he loved that. He likes watching a few cartoons and spending time with the family but is also still nonverbal. Just wondering if there Is anyone out the experiencing these same things with the total aversion to tactical play. Also anyone who is or has experienced it has any advice on toys etc all ideas welcome.
