Jerome and I watched a sermon by Carl Lentz preaching at Lifechurch.tv on the power of praise last night. This morning I decided to spend an extended period of time worshipping. I have been struggling with so many doubts, fears and weaknesses. It is amazing how when we exalt Him, even if thru tears, many things are healed. The angst of what we are wrestling with loses its power. He is above ALL! As I spoke out what I believe (not what I feel) based on His Word and my personal past accounts of His faithfulness I felt such strength being produced in me. I know many believers who are fully devoted followers of Christ and are suffering this same battle that comes when you are determined to do His will. Im praying for all of us today...that we KNOW He is worth the fight to follow!
