Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj take Bang Bang to Number 1 in the UK! The Super Trios Bang Bang, which is already a Top 10 hit in the US, Australia and Europe, is No.1 in the UK this week, racking up sales of almost 100,000! The song serves as the lead single from Jessie J’s new album Sweet Talker. Bang Bang delivers the singer her third Number 1 single, and first chart-topper since Domino almost three years ago. Jessie told OfficialCharts: “I want to say thank you, thank you, thank you for making me Number 1. Bang Bang is the first single off my new album Sweet Talker and for it to be such a success around the world means so much to me. To be Number 1 for in the UK for the first time in three years… I’m going to celebrate every minute of it, I might even go bowling?!” Bang Bang also gives rapper Nicki Minaj her first taste of Number 1 success in the UK, while for pop princess Ariana Grande, its her 2nd chart-topper of 2014 following the Iggy Azalea-assisted Problem earlier this year.
