Jesus being the greatest example - suffering all things for us - for the Kingdoms sake - to the point of death. Not concerned what even His earthly family thought, that the good news go forth, that the truth be told, no matter what they may say, if they rejected or disliked Him for it even knowing that some didnt want to hear it. Many people who call themselves Christians compromise (and I have done this in the past myself. Whether for small thing or otherwise, cant compromise) or have gotten complacent or comfortable and dont want to suffer anything. Why? Isnt Jesus worth it? He thought we were. We cant have one foot in the world and the other in church (but then not in Christ). We cannot be lukewarm. All or nothing. If not for Him, then were against Him. Seed that fell among thorns: As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful. We who are believers and are guilty of these things need to repent (and I did too) and turn our hearts back to the Lord who bought us with His own blood! Let us not forsake Him!
