Jesus is love❤️ its that simple, religion kills, so just love an let God do the rest😉 Iam reminded when I took a Homeless & Needy School down on skidrow Hastings, Vancouver in 1992, changed my life forever, stayed in a shelter, lined up at the soup kitchens, hung out at Pigeon Park, actually had fun with the folks that considered it home but my heart aching as I seen elders covered with card board boxes in the wee hours of the morning trying to keep warm, church is good dont get me wrong as a matter of fact Iam a Pastor an believ in equipping an edifying the body of Christ but lets not keep Jesus in the four walls of the church, let Him out, dont get comfy or cozy in those four walls or be caught up with fleshly wars or battles, thee enemy has us right where he wants us if we dont let Jesus out, a man came to our church on Sunday night, yes under thee influence, tattered clothing an obviously living a rough life, he has crutches an as the presence of God begin to increase in the place, the man walks up to the front an begins to try dance as he was wounded, he then lays his crutches down on the chair an begins to gently dance, my heart cried as I too wanted to lay down my crutches of religion, and any other crutch that was hindering me from being free, while the message is being preached the elderly man again comes to the front an beckons Pastor Dez to meet him at the alter, Pastor stops his message an walks to the elderly man as they grasp one anothers hands I can hear Pastor say I love you, Jesus loves you thee elderly man places his hand on his heart as if to say thank you, dont lose vision of Jesus my friends keep your eyes ever on Him, many friends an dear loved ones have lost their way, they have lost their vision of Him, so lets let them see Jesus through us❤️
