Jesus made many powerful promises to those who practiced the devotion to His Sacred Heart. This is one of His promises: In the excess of the mercy of My Heart, I promise that all my powerful love will grant to all those who will receive Holy Communion on the First Fridays for nine consecutive Fridays, the grace of final repentance: they will not die in my displeasure, nor without receiving the sacraments; and my heart will be their final refuge in that last hour.
