Jesus of Nazareth was anointed by God with the Holy Spirit and with great power! He was doing wonderful things for others and divinely healing all who were under the tyranny of the devil, for God’s manifest presence rested upon Him! ³⁹And we apostles were eye-witnesses to all these miracles which He performed throughout the land of Israel. Until finally, in Jerusalem, they crucified Him on a cross, ⁴⁰but God raised Him from the dead three days later and allowed Him to be seen openly! ⁴¹He appeared not to everyone, but to us, His chosen witnesses.
