Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” John 3:3 Even Jesus had to die before He could return to the Father. We know that nobody can come to the Father other than through Jesus and following Him and obeying His commandments out of LOVE - not simply because it is another step in the way to success. If there is still any pride left in you, that is a sure sign that you have not died to self yet and thus are not born again and not fully seeing and understanding the magnitude of the Kingdom of God. So often we think we see, are convinced that we understand only to realize some time later that we were only getting glimpses of things to come and not close yet to understanding things that angels wish to know, the secret truths of the Lord that He promised the Holy Spirit will reveal to those who follow Him in Spirit and in Truth. Unless we start living the truth that was given to us, we will not receive more. God is not a fool and not wasteful and will not give the fullness to the halfhearted.
