Jesus said this---"SIN because they believed not on me" Jesus is The Word so God defines Sin as Unbelief in The Word/Christ! However, SIN is what The Word came as flesh and hung on the cross for- meaning that Unbelief in Him was Pardoned by Him on the cross!! So than if Unbelief in Christ is the Sin of humanity, and Christ pardoned that sin on the cross, how exactly is it that the shallow church buildings and their doctrines tell the world that they will be eternally tormented by God for their unbelief in Christ? hmm maybe because they are mired in both their self righteousness and spiritual blindness!!! BELIEF in CHRIST is not required by God in order for one to escape eternal punishment by God, because unbelief in Christ is the sin of mankind that Christ pardoned on the cross! Belief in Christ is required in order for one to enter into the rest of God HERE on EARTH-the rest of God meaning living in perfect peace and abundance of joy in the sovereign will of God...Perfect Peace and abundance of Joy =Heaven on Earth resting in the will of God!
