Jesus walked some 10 days from His home in Nazareth to the Jordan River to be Baptized by John. No doubt He traveled alone. It was a soul-time for Jesus to ready Himself for the coming 40 days in the wilderness. The Spirit led Him into that place, but the Spirit didnt tell Jesus to Fast. That was His own choice. I feel deeply these days of preparation for the coming 40 days of Fasting and Praying-of International Intercession (March 11) Im clearing clutter from my mind and conversations...releasing entanglements that might slow the journey. I am in awe of our God and my soul waits longingly to see what He will do among us. During the Great Fast of 2013 I Ministered in El Salvador and we launched a second Sunday morning Worship Service. The Name of the Lord be Praised and His Will be done.+
