Jesus was asleep in the boat and a storm came. The disciples woke Him up and said, “ Master dont you care that were going to perish?” I wish life was always smooth sailing, and sometimes it is. But more often than not, the waters are rough. It seems theres always some kind of a storm brewing. It’s when the waters are troubled that we find ourselves wondering if God really cares. Oh we might not say it, but we think it. Wonder why we always question Gods concern and love for us? You know what I mean: God whats going on? Whys this happening to me? Dont You care? Truth is, He has always, does, and always will - care about us. In our story Jesus got up and calmed the storm. Whatever your story is today - Jesus will calm your storm. His comment to them was, Wheres your faith - dont you trust Me? Theres probably always going to be a storm brewing - maybe we should just trust Him. Humanity said, God, dont you care that were going to perish? Then Jesus got up and went to the Cross. Thank You, Jesus! Ill serve You all of my life. Just something to think about. Love you so much.
