Jesus wept. John 11:35. As I think of this scripture, I wonder how many times have I made the Lord weep. There have been times, in the past, that I have turned my back on Him, not wanting what He had to offer. I am sure that He shed tears, when I was lost in the world. When I had no direction and He was waiting for me with open arms, to receive me, even when I was in sin, I am sure He wept for the rejection that I gave Him. Now that I have found Him, I am sure there are times I have missed it and He weeps for those lost opportunities, when I could have made a difference and didnt. I am so grateful that His Love and Forgiveness is so much greater, allowing me to pick up again, moving ever closer to Him. To learn from those mistakes that I have made. I thank Him for the ability to come and repent before His Throne, knowing that my sins are wiped away, never to be remembered again. That is why we must be sensitive to the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to guide and direct us, in every area of our lives. When God opens a door for us, we must be ready and spiritually prepared to walk through it, accomplishing all that God has for us. There may be those that God places in our path, that it could be their last opportunity. Every soul is valuable to the Kingdom of God. Today, our nation is in turmoil and there are many that are lost without Jesus Christ as their Saviour. Our work for God is to reach the lost souls, making sure that Satan does not get anyone, yet, we know that there are many that will not receive Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Jesus weeps for a nation, that has turned its back on Him, a nation that once stood on; In God We Trust. When we turn our back on God, we turn our back on Eternal Life, those are the times that I believe that Jesus Christ weeps the most. My desire is to be an asset for the Kingdom of God.
