Jesus’ ministry was radically different from all that the religious leaders and the Jews were familiar with. He came to radically change the world and build a church of His own making. In order to do that, Jesus was very intentional about discipleship. He spent three years pouring into the lives of 12 men. He not only taught them, but they did life together. He did this so that they in turn would be equipped to go out and do the same, and eventually take over the ministry that He began.
