#JewelShepard Heres the thing I find interesting about this movie I am shooting right now in Missouri. The script is actually more than decent. Twisted as hell and has plot twists that will make all you horror lovers out there pee in your pants. It is in part financed by donations made to the film school here, shot by the kids who are either going to the school or have just graduated -- filled with people kinder than any folks on the planet and staring the sweetest and quite talented kids here from around Missouri. Friends and parents, not only pitch in financially but they are so dedicated to the core in making this tiny picture look like a real Hollywood style slasher flick in the style of John Waters, Meets Chainsaw Massacre, while hanging out at Freddys house. The kids both behind the scenes and the production team all have real jobs and they put their real money into this sick piece of a cinema gem and in many cases -- do it for free because they believe -- THAT IS MOVIE MAKING! Not Michael Bay... Transformers, piece of mega-junk -- just saying... these kids just need the break. I have explained to them to I am blue in the face... Hollywood as I know it/knew it is harder and more brutal than any industry in the world. The odds of success in this biz -- is practically nil and no longer exists in Hollywood. I am truly sad to know... the center of Hollywood of the future will most likely by the midwest and china. Either of the two -- not exactly top choices to want to relocate to. Very tired... Most likely I will have a fourteen hour day tomorrow folks... Which starts in a few hours. Good night. Just ranting... to show my support for you film makers living in the depths of a swamp or down in a tiny country in the middle of nowhere. Follow your dream... whatever it is.
