Jewelry store owners jailed for allegedly buying $86,000 in stolen jewelry A local man and his wife have been arrested for selling jewelry stolen during a string of robberies that took place from December 4, 2012 to June 4, 2014. Nicholas Nik John Lenios, 58, and Jean Lenios, 38, both of 1140 Hancock St., allegedly knowingly received $86,000 of stolen jewelry at their business, Niks Goldsmith at 1604 E. Third St., according to an affidavit completed by state police. The business buys and sells jewelry and other precious metals. The couple were taken into custody Wednesday after state police conducted an undercover operation at Niks Goldsmith on June 4. See todays Sun-Gazette in print or online for the full story.
