Jimmy Slyten has nominated me to list my top 5 most influential DJ/Producers Im going to list 10 because many people have influenced me over the years. 10. DJ Turbulence I went to high school with him and he was comin up in the hip-hop/turntablism scene while I was just starting. He told me many times how he wanted to become a big time DJ and years later, he became just that. From his many victories in battle to becoming Lil Jons DJ, he followed his dream. 9. Novokain I, like some of us, used to listen to his Hardcore mixtapes in the 90s and his selection/mixing was always on point. Really influenced me to mix Speedcore and to always be on top of my track selection. 8. Techno-B Brian MacKinnon B is responsible for helping me start my DJ career. Lambchop the Bloody Lamb was a favorite of mine. Him and Dylan used to produce some hard as nails Techno. 7. FIEND One of the best DJs and producers in the world. Always sticks to his guns and is humble. Turbulence first introduced me to him. 6. HardKore Junkies (Mike Hemp & Dope-E) I used to listen to these guys on Power 106 and thought someday I could be on the radio as well....and I was (not Power 106 of course) Two of the best DJ/turntablists right here. 5. Ron D Core L.A. legend and successful record shop owner. 100s of mixes under his belt. He still influences me to this day. Always rocks a crowd with his track selection and crazy back spins. 4. Slyten My brother from another mother. Hes influenced me and has helped me become a better DJ and a better person for a very long time. Taught me to stay humble and not to be an asshole. 3. Delta 9 So many badass mixtapes and tracks. Huge influence for me. Very successful man. 2. The destroyer You always know its a Destroyer track when someone plays it. His tracks are always hittin hard. You know hes your favorite producer when youre always lookin forward to his newest track. 1. DJ Tron You are mainly the reason I became a Hardcore DJ. Track selection was always bad ass. People would always be so excited to see you perform live. Sadly, you were taken from us too soon. R.I.P.
