Jinja womans prison Uganda: Each year over the last 4 we have made a special trip to the womans prison adopting them/ it as one of our programs. Over these years we have helped improve the lives woman and children that live in this prison. We have then no longer sleeping on the floor now in bunks, with blankets and new sheets ( sheets this year), we repaired all the sewing machines and brought in a teacher so now every woman leaves with a skill and what they make now is used to help feed them. This year a new water tank, improved garden. This day each year is the most happy day for these woman, their children and the warden ( a most wonderful caring woman) and the staff.
