JoAnn McFatter this really threw me into a sober state of mind. It puts it up close and personal. we need these things in our face so that we will pray. today its over there guys, tomorrow it will be here. but even if it never comes here, praying for this part of the body is our privilege in sharing in the burden of the Lord. really. God, help us to be aware and to pray. these peoples lives are at stake. the torture, mentally and physically is not to be ignored. can we commit to praying at least 15 minutes a day for them ? I guess Im just trying to rally the troops here. Im as guilty as the next person to get caught up in my own life and just look at this and say, what a tragedy and then feel bad for them for a little while and then forget. so much going on in this hour to so many people. lets get up on the wall and pray !! if what the Bible says about prayer, and it is, then we can make an impact on these peoples lives with our prayers. for real. God, help me to remember.
