JoY This morning we are thankful to be waking up to the re-opening of the federal government, and now a lot of people that were out of work can get back to work. As I was riding in God laid a heavy statement on me and I was in total awe. The statement was there is joy in the air about the federal government being re-opened today, even with the threat of us being in the same situation come January 15. However when it comes to Him, where is the joy? He has never shutdown on anyone, and when there is an issue that needs to be dealt with He never kicks the can down the road, He deals with it and moves on, yet people do not share the same joy about serving Him as we do about the federal government being opened again. On the very money that we work so hard to get and spend…..the very money in our pockets have the words In God We Trust, but is that really a true statement……are we really trusting in God or are we trusting in man and his system? As I was moving along God dropped the Pledge of Allegiance in my spirit, I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands one Nation under “GOD” indivisible with liberty and justice for all. God plainly said the reason that we are in the shape that we are in is because this nation according to the Pledge of Allegiance is supposed to be under God, has moved from under God. This nation has taken God out of everything and as a result we are in the situation that we are in. God wants us to know today that the world has given us the blueprint for what happens when we try to operate outside of His covering. We don’t have to have the school shootings, we don’t have to have workplace shootings, senseless murders, wars, robberies, issues in marriages, issues between parents and children, issues within the church….. if we simply return to our first love. We have a government shutdown because desire to have Godlike power on Capitol Hill, sure they have a Chaplin there in the house and senate, but they have him so restrained that He cannot pray to some degree like he should. God wants us to know that if we do not want to end up in the shape of the world, and then ensure that we are including Him! Do not move from under God in your life! Do we really trust in God? Is God an active part of our life? I said it two weeks ago and I will say it again this morning, if we are not trusting in God, and trusting in man and his system we are subject to be shut down again and again and again. If our trust is in God then when stuff happens in the natural we can simply rest against God and breath, and feel His heartbeat. Let’s turn our eyes back to God and do not get caught up in what’s going on in this natural world. It’s the very distraction the enemy wants to put in place to take our eyes of what really matters and that’s GOD! This morning I pray and hope that our joy for the world does not outweigh our joy for God. Shift your dependence from the way of the world to God, and allow Him to make the provisions for you. Do YOU really trust God on today? Have a great weekend and enjoy life, tell your love ones that you love them, spend some time with God and should He delay His coming again, we will do this all over again on Monday.
