Joan Crawford suite of jewelry French about 1935 Verger Freres The suite consists of a matching necklace, bracelet, and brooch executed in the moderne style. It was once owned and worn by film star Joan Crawford. The necklace has a pink and yellow gold foliate motif bordered by rows of oval-shapes aquamarines and additional gold leaves; the bracelet and brooch are of similar design. All of the ornaments have brilliant-cut diamond highlights. The suite was worn by Crawford in the 1939 movie, The Women.
